Kaamil was a teaching artist and artist-in-residence at Ubah Medical Academy in Hopkins, Minnesota. Here, Kaamil guided students in projects where they explored graphic design as a means of visual communication and creative expression in a culturally relevant context, as well as providing exposure to college arts learning environments. In addition to teaching, he oversaw the promotional and teaching design materials.
